KILN DRIED SILVER BIRCH LOG SLICES
Botanical Name: Betula Pendula
There are other logs and slices out there but we would offer our caution to purchases where the wood has not been kiln dried.
All of our wood has been kiln dried to under 20% moisture content and will require care to dry further depending on the utilisation of the wood to avoid warping and coming unstuck!
Kiln dried wood ensures that there are no horrible surprises lying latent within the wood. Purchase our logs content in the knowledge that the high temperatures in the kiln have seen off any unwanted tenants.
These logs are Rustic In Nature. Depending on your use for them, they may benefit from a good sanding to bring out the wonderful detail in each Birch Log Slice.
Each slice is cut by hand to your required specification.
Purchasing these off the shelf logs assumes you understand that measurements are approximate and a tolerance of +/- 20mm should be expected.

Due to Mother Nature being wonderfully inconsistent we do not recommend filling a large space by buying batches of these logs over a period of time as the logs can look different from different batches. It is always best to completely fill your space with logs from one batch to get a genuine natural but consistent look. We do offer discounts on volume purchases.

Shipping/Delivery
Orders received before 12pm will be delivered the following day with the exception of orders placed after 12pm Thursday (delivery will be Monday) and bank holidays.
Bank Holiday weekends: (delivery will be Tuesday for orders placed after 12pm the preceding Thursday and before 12pm the preceding Friday. Orders received after 12pm on Friday before a Bank Holiday Monday won't be delivered until the following Wednesday)
We operate a full replacement/refund policy. Please consider contacting us before leaving feedback if you are not entirely happy with your purchase.
